First Prize award for the Eurecha SCP contest won by students of the Chemical Engineering Dept !

This Student Contest Problem (SCP) is organized by the European Committee for the Use of Computers in Chemical Engineering Education (EURECHA), with the support of the CAPE Working Party and the Energy section of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering.
In this contest, students work in groups during a few months to design a chemical process that adress societal challenges such as CO2 capture and re-use, while using Process Systems Engineering tools. This prestigious prize was won by the ULiège 2023 Team from our Chemical Engineering Dept (Master's students):
Nadia REDA, Zoé DECKERS, Jean-Jacques COLARD, Denis William ATEAJEU TCHIO and Maurine HENNUY
with their work entitled : "Production of Olefins from Carbon Dioxide and Renewable Electricity".
Their contribution will be presented at the ESCAPE 33 conference in Greece this June, where they will officially receive the award! Congratulations!
