Energy Summer School 2025 : Best Poster Award for Muhammad SALMAN

Congratulations to our colleague Muhammad Salman, PhD researcher for winning the Best Poster Award at the Energy Summer School 2025!

 

Hosted at Monte Verità in Ascona, Switzerland and organized by the Energy Science Center (ESC) and the Institute of Science, Technology and Policy (ISTP), ETH Zurich, this prestigious summer school brought together international experts and young researchers to discuss the pressing theme: “Navigating the Energy Transition in an Insecure World.”

 

Salman not only represented our department by presenting his research on industrial decarbonisation but also actively contributed to the policy development exercise on South Africa’s energy transition. His outstanding work and poster presentation earned him the Best Poster Award among a diverse international cohort.

 

We are proud of Salman’s achievement, which highlights the impact of our department’s research on global energy transition challenges.
