Lucien de Bay Foundation 2020 Award

Each year, the Lucien de Bay Foundation awards a prize to the author of a TFE carried out at the University of Liège in the field of glass and related materials. It is the same every two years for the author of a doctoral thesis in the same field.

The 2020 prizes have just been awarded to :

- Carlos Mendoza Gallego for his doctoral thesis entitled: "Functionalized nanomaterials for an efficient photogeneration of singlet oxygen in microreactors" (promoter: Benoît Heinrichs)
- Chloé Halbach for her TFE entitled: "Optical and electrical properties of metallic nanostructures as electrode material for wide band gap semiconducting junctions" (promoter: Ngoc Duy Nguyen; co-sponsor: Benoît Vanderheyden)
